Features of Silicon rubber for decoration mold making
Silicon rubber for building decoration mold making is a kind of white or red flowing liquid with general hardness of 22-50A°after curing. Molding silicon rubber is a kind of elastic silicon rubber mold which features with resistance to deformation, high-temperature, acid-alkali and expansion as well as high reproduction times, good elongation, good tensile and tear strength.
Operations of Silicon rubber for decoration mold makin
If the customer wants to make products and silicone molds in large size, the mold should be made of silicon rubber with high hardness. On the contrary, if the mold with fine and precise patterns, it should be made of silicon with low hardness. The amount of the curing agent added depends on the actual requirements of the customer. If fast drying and demold is required, more curing agent is needed; contrarily, if slower drying and demold is required, then less curing agent is needed.
(Note: our co***ny does not recommend you to add silicon oil into the silicone rubber. If the products require a special soft silicone mold or have fine ***ailed and complex patterns, 5% - 10% silicon oil could be added to soften the mold for easy demold.)
